यस्येत्थं संविकल्पंते संज्ञासंज्ञोक्तितः स्म वै । कियता चैव कालेन द्वितीयेच्छाऽभवत्किल
yasyetthaṃ saṃvikalpaṃte saṃjñāsaṃjñoktitaḥ sma vai | kiyatā caiva kālena dvitīyecchā'bhavatkila
ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಜ್ಞೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಜ್ಞೋಕ್ತಿ (ಹೆಸರು ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಸರಿತ)ಗಳ ವ್ಯವಹಾರದಿಂದ ಇಂತಹ ನಿರ್ಣಯಗಳು ಉದ್ಭವಿಸಿದವು. ನಂತರ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಎರಡನೇ ಇಚ್ಛಾ-ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
