विष्णोर्दर्शनं स्तुतिश्च

विष्णुरुवाच । कस्माद्धेतोरिति मतिस्तव जाता पितामह । सर्वं विचार्य सुधिया ब्रह्मन् सत्यं हि तद्वद
viṣṇuruvāca | kasmāddhetoriti matistava jātā pitāmaha | sarvaṃ vicārya sudhiyā brahman satyaṃ hi tadvada
ವಿಷ್ಣು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಹೇ ಪಿತಾಮಹ! ಯಾವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಈ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು? ಹೇ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನ್, ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಶುದ್ಧ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ನಂತರ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು।
