Suta Goswami (narrative colophon concluding the chapter as recited to the sages of Naimiṣāraṇya)
This is a concluding colophon marking the completion of a chapter on Śiva’s Māyā, reminding the listener that māyā is Śiva’s own śakti—powerful for creation and concealment—yet ultimately subordinate to Pati (Śiva), the liberating Lord.
By naming the topic as Śiva’s Māyā, it frames Saguna worship (including Liṅga-pūjā) as an accessible, grace-filled means within Śiva’s manifested order—through which devotees move from worldly appearance toward recognition of Śiva as the supreme reality.
As a chapter-ending marker, it does not prescribe a specific rite; the practical takeaway is to continue regular Śiva-upāsanā—japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” along with bhakti and discernment—so māyā is understood and transcended by Śiva’s grace.
