ब्रह्मोवाच । शृणु तात महाधीमन्सर्वलोकहितावह । वच्म्यहं प्रीतितस्सिंधो शिवेच्छाप्रेरितो हृदा
brahmovāca | śṛṇu tāta mahādhīmansarvalokahitāvaha | vacmyahaṃ prītitassiṃdho śivecchāprerito hṛdā
ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಓ ತಾತ, ಓ ಮಹಾಧೀಮಾನ್, ಕೇಳು. ನಾನು ಸರ್ವಲೋಕಹಿತವನ್ನು ತರುವ ವಚನವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಓ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿಂಧು, ಶಿವೇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರಿತನಾಗಿ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಆನಂದದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ।
