Narration of Kārttikeya’s Divine Play
punaśśakro jaghānā''śu vāmapārśve hi taṃ tadā | vajreṇā'nyaḥ pumāñjāto viśākhākhyo'paro balī

Cosmic Event: Second miraculous emergence from a left-side strike; escalation of the conflict
It highlights that worldly power (even Indra’s Vajra) operates within a higher divine order; new forces arise as part of destiny under the supreme governance of Pati (Shiva), reminding devotees that true sovereignty belongs to the Lord beyond the Devas.
The battle episode underscores the dependence of all celestial authorities on the supreme Lord; worship of Saguna Shiva through the Linga centers the devotee in the source of power and protection that transcends changing cosmic conflicts.
A practical takeaway is to cultivate steadiness through japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and remembrance of Shiva as the inner ruler, especially when facing ‘strikes’ of adversity and sudden change.
