Transliteration

punaśśakro jaghānā''śu vāmapārśve hi taṃ tadā | vajreṇā'nyaḥ pumāñjāto viśākhākhyo'paro balī

Translation

ಮತ್ತೆ ಶಕ್ರ (ಇಂದ್ರ)ನು ತಕ್ಷಣ ವಜ್ರದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಎಡಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದನು. ಆ ಆಘಾತದಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಪುರುಷನು ಜನಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನು ‘ವಿಶಾಖ’ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧನಾದನು.
