गणेशोत्पत्ति-प्रसङ्गः / Episode on the Origin of Gaṇeśa (Śvetakalpa Account)
गणेश उवाच । किं कार्यं विद्यते तेद्य करवाणि तवोदितम् । इत्युक्ता सा तदा तेन प्रत्युवाच सुतं शिवा
gaṇeśa uvāca | kiṃ kāryaṃ vidyate tedya karavāṇi tavoditam | ityuktā sā tadā tena pratyuvāca sutaṃ śivā
ಗಣೇಶನು ಹೇಳಿದನು: “ಇಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾವ ಕಾರ್ಯವಿದೆ? ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.” ಹೀಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಶಿವಾ (ದೇವಿ) ತನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದಳು.
