स वां यज्ञेषु मानवी इन्दुर्जनिष्ट रोदसी । देवो देवी गिरिष्ठा अस्रेधन्तं तुविष्वणि ॥

Transliteration

sá vāṃ yajñéṣu mānavī́ índur janiṣṭa rodasī́ | devó devī́ giriṣṭhā́ asredhántaṃ tuviṣváṇi ||

Translation

ಹೇ ರೋದಸೀ (ದ್ಯಾವಾ-ಪೃಥಿವೀ), ಮಾನವೀಯ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಇಂದುವು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಗಾಗಿ ಜನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ—ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದೇವನಾಗಿ, ದೇವೀ-ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದೇವನಾಗಿ; ಗಿರಿಷ್ಠಾ (ಪರ್ವತಸ್ಥ), ಅಸ್ರೇಧಂತ (ಅಥಕದ, ಅಚಲ), ತುವಿಷ್ವಣಿ (ಮಹಾ ಗರ್ಜನೆ ಮಾಡುವವ).
