Sukta 9.96
स्वायुधः सोतृभिः पूयमानोऽभ्यर्ष गुह्यं चारु नाम । अभि वाजं सप्तिरिव श्रवस्याभि वायुमभि गा देव सोम ॥
svāyudhaḥ sotṛ́bhiḥ pūyámāno ’bhyàrṣa gúhyaṃ cā́ru nā́ma | abhí vā́jaṃ sáptir iva śravasyā́bhi vāyúm abhí gā́ deva soma ||
ಸ್ವಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಯುಧಧಾರಿ, ಸೋಟೃಭಿಃ (ರಸಪೀಡಕರಿಂದ) ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುತ್ತಾ, ಹೇ ಸೋಮ, ಹರಿದು ಬಾ—ಗುಹ್ಯವೂ ಚಾರುವೂ ಆದ ನಾಮದ ಕಡೆಗೆ. ವೇಗದ ಅಶ್ವವು ಕೀರ್ತಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸುವಂತೆ ವಾಜ (ಬಲ-ಸಂಪತ್ತು) ಕಡೆಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸು; ವಾಯುವಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸು, ಗಾಃ (ಕಿರಣ-ಗೋಗಳು) ಕಡೆಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸು, ಹೇ ದೇವ ಸೋಮ.
