Sukta 9.91
एवा पुनानो अपः स्वर्गा अस्मभ्यं तोका तनयानि भूरि । शं नः क्षेत्रमुरु ज्योतींषि सोम ज्योङ्नः सूर्यं दृशये रिरीहि ॥
evā́ punānó apáḥ svàr gā́ asmábhyaṃ tokā́ tanayā́ni bhū́ri | śáṃ naḥ kṣétram urú jyótīṃṣi soma jyók naḥ sū́ryaṃ dṛśáye rirīhi ||
ಹೀಗೆ, ಹೇ ಸೋಮ, ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿ, ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಅಪಃ—ಜಲಗಳನ್ನು—ತಂದುಕೊಡು; ಸ್ವರ್ಗಲೋಕದ ಸೂರ್ಯ-ಜ್ಯೋತಿಯ ಗೋವುಗಳನ್ನು, ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದ ಬಹು ಸಂತಾನ—ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಂಶಪರಂಪರೆ—ಅಪಾರವಾಗಿ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸು. ನಮ್ಮ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವನ್ನು ಶಾಂತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶಾಲಗೊಳಿಸು; ನಮಗೆ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸು. ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲ ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೂರ್ಯನನ್ನು ದರ್ಶನೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸು—ಸತ್ಯ-ಜ್ಯೋತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಿರ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ನೀಡು.
