ā naḥ sómaṃ pavítra ā sṛ́jatā mádhumattamam | devébhyo devaśrúttamam ||

ಹೇ ಸೋಮ! ನಮ್ಮಿಗಾಗಿ ಪವಿತ್ರಕ (ಪವಿತ್ರ)ದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸು; ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿಸು—ಅತಿಮಧುರ-ರಸಪೂರ್ಣ, ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶ್ರುತಿಪ್ರಿಯ—ಅದರಿಂದ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಲಿ.
