यमत्यमिव वाजिनं मृजन्ति योषणो दश । वने क्रीळन्तमत्यविम् ॥
Transliteration
yám átyam iva vājínaṃ mṛjánti yóṣaṇo dáśa | váne krī́ḷantám átyavim ||
Translation
ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ವೇಗವಂತ ಕುದುರೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ತೊಳೆಯುವರೋ ಹಾಗೆ, ಅವನನ್ನು ಹತ್ತು ಯುವತಿಯರು ಮೃದುವಾಗಿ ಘಸಿ ಶುದ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ—ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಟವಾಡುವ, ಅತಿವೇಗದ ಓಟಗಾರನನ್ನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞದ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಸೋಮನನ್ನು ಮೆರುಗುಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ವೇಗವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
