ऋषे मन्त्रकृतां स्तोमैः कश्यपोद्वर्धयन्गिरः । सोमं नमस्य राजानं यो जज्ञे वीरुधां पतिरिन्द्रायेन्दो परि स्रव ॥

ṛ́ṣe mantra-kṛtā́ṃ stómaiḥ káśyapod-vardháyan gíraḥ | sómaṃ namasya rā́jānaṃ yó jajñé vīrúd hāṃ pátir indrā́yendo pári srava ||

ಹೇ ಋಷಿ, ಮಂತ್ರದಿಂದ ರೂಪಿತವಾದ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ಕಶ್ಯಪನು ಪ್ರೇರಿತ ವಾಣಿಗಳಾದ ಗಿರಃಗಳನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ವೀರುಧಗಳ ಪತಿಯಾಗಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ ರಾಜ ಸೋಮನಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿರಿ. ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರನ ಸೋಮ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಹರಿದುಬಾ.
