Sukta 8.96
द्रप्समपश्यं विषुणे चरन्तमुपह्वरे नद्यो अंशुमत्याः । नभो न कृष्णमवतस्थिवांसमिष्यामि वो वृषणो युध्यताजौ ॥
drapsám apaśyaṃ víṣuṇe cárantam upahvaré nadyò aṃśumátyāḥ | nábho na kṛṣṇám avatasthivā́ṃsam iṣyā́mi vo vṛṣaṇo yúdhyatājau ||
ನಾನು ಆ ಬಿಂದುವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆ—ವಕ್ರವಾದ ಕುಹರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕಿರಣಭರಿತ ನದಿಗಳು ಹರಿಯುವಲ್ಲಿ. ಅದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಪ್ಪು ಮೇಘಪಿಂಡದಂತೆ ನಿಂತಿತ್ತು; ಹೇ ವೃಷಣರು (ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಗಳು), ಯುದ್ಧದ ಅಜೌನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಡಲು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
