अयं कृत्नुरगृभीतो विश्वजिदुद्भिदित्सोमः । ऋषिर्विप्रः काव्येन ॥
Transliteration
ayáṃ kṛtnúr ágṛbhīto viśvá-jid úd-bhíd ít sómaḥ́ | ṛ́ṣir vípraḥ́ kā́vyena ||
Translation
ಈ ಸೋಮನು ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣನು, ಯಾವ ಮಿತಿಗೂ ಅಗ್ರಾಹ್ಯನು; ಸರ್ವವಿಜಯಿ, ಮುಚ್ಚಿಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟುದನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇದಿಸಿ ಹೊರತೆಗೆಯುವವನು. ವಿಪ್ರ ಋಷಿಯ ಕಾವ್ಯದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಅವನು ಋಷಿ—ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿತ ಜ್ಞಾನಿ—ಆಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
