नहि मन्युः पौरुषेय ईशे हि वः प्रियजात । त्वमिदसि क्षपावान् ॥
Transliteration
náhi manyúḥ paúruṣeya í̄śe hí vaḥ priyajāta | tvám íd asi kṣapā́vān ||
Translation
ಓ ಪ್ರಿಯಜಾತ, ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮನ್ಯು (ಕ್ರೋಧ) ಅಥವಾ ಕೇವಲ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆವೇಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಆಳಲಾರದು; ನೀನೇ ಕ್ಷಪಾವಾನ್—ರಾತ್ರಿಗಳ ಅಧಿಪತಿ—ಅಂಧಕಾರದ ಪಥಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹನಶಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡುವವನು.
