Sukta 8.66
यः शक्रो मृक्षो अश्व्यो यो वा कीजो हिरण्ययः । स ऊर्वस्य रेजयत्यपावृतिमिन्द्रो गव्यस्य वृत्रहा ॥
yáḥ śakró mṛkṣó aśvyó yó vā kī́jo hiraṇyáyaḥ | sá ū́rvasya rejayaty ápāvṛtim índro gávyasya vṛtrahā́ ||
ಯಾರು ಶಕ್ರ—ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ, ಉಗ್ರ; ಯಾರು ಅಶ್ವ್ಯ—ಅಶ್ವಜನ್ಯ ವೇಗ; ಅಥವಾ ಯಾರು ಕೀಜ—ಹಿರಣ್ಯಮಯ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಶಕ್ತಿ—ಅವನೇ ಇಂದ್ರ, ವೃತ್ರಹಾ (ಆವರಣಹಂತ), ಊರ್ವಸ್ಯ ಅಪಾವೃತಿಂ—ಆವರಣದ ತೆರೆಯುವ ದ್ವಾರವನ್ನು—ಕಂಪಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ದೂರಮಾಡಿ, ಗವ್ಯ—ಗೋವುಗಳು/ಕಿರಣಗಳು—ಜಯವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
