आ नो गोमन्तमश्विना सुवीरं सुरथं रयिम् । वोळ्हमश्वावतीरिषः ॥
Transliteration
ā́ no gómantam aśvinā suvíraṃ suráthaṃ rayím | vóḷham aśvā́vatīr íṣaḥ ||
Translation
ಹೇ ಅಶ್ವಿನರೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಗೋಮಂತ—ಗೋ/ಕಿರಣಸಂಪನ್ನ, ಅಶ್ವಸಂಪನ್ನ, ಸುವೀರ—ವೀರಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ, ಸುರಥ—ಸುಚಲ ರಥವಿರುವ ರಯಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಡಿ; ನಮ್ಮ ಇಷಾ (ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ)ಯ ಅಶ್ವಶಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಹೊತ್ತು ತರುವ ಆ ರಯಿಯನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯಿರಿ.
