इदं वां मदिरं मध्वधुक्षन्नद्रिभिर्नरः । इन्द्राग्नी तस्य बोधतम् ॥

Transliteration

idáṃ vāṃ madiráṃ mádhv ádhukṣann ádribhir náraḥ | indrā́gnī tásya bodhatam ||

Translation

ಈ ಮದಿರ ಮಧು (ಸೋಮ) ನಿಮಗಿಬ್ಬರಿಗಾಗಿ, ಹೇ ಬಲವಂತರೇ, ನರರು ಅದ್ರಿ (ಪೇಷಣಶಿಲೆ)ಗಳಿಂದ ದೋಹಿಸಿ ಹೊರತಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ-ಅಗ್ನಿ, ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಜಾಗರೂಕರಾಗಿರಿ (ಮತ್ತು ಪಾನಮಾಡಿರಿ).
