पूर्वायुषं सुहवं पुरुस्पृहं भुज्युं वाजेषु पूर्व्यम् । सचनावन्तं सुमतिभिः सोभरे विद्वेषसमनेहसम् ॥
Transliteration
pūrvā́yuṣaṃ su-hávaṃ puru-spṛ́haṃ bhujyúṃ vā́jeṣu pū́rvyam | sacanā́vantaṃ sumatíbhir sobhare ví-dveṣasam anéhasam ||
Translation
ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದ ಆಯುಷ್ಯದಾತ, ಸುಹವ, ಬಹು-ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿತ; ವಾಜಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ವ್ಯನಾದ ಭುಜ್ಯುವನ್ನು—ಸಚನಾವಂತ (ಸಹಚರ)ನಾದ ಅವನನ್ನು—ಹೇ ಸೋಭರಿಗಳೇ, ದ್ವೇಷ-ಶಮನಕಾರಕ, ಅನೇಹಸ (ಅಥಾಕ)ನಾದ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸುಮತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಪೋಷಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ।
