Sukta 7.8
अयमु ष्य सुमहाँ अवेदि होता मन्द्रो मनुषो यह्वो अग्निः । वि भा अकः ससृजानः पृथिव्यां कृष्णपविरोषधीभिर्ववक्षे ॥
ayám u ṣyá sumáhā̃ avedi hótā mandró mánuṣo yahvó agníḥ | ví bhā́ akāḥ sasṛjānáḥ pṛthivyā́ṃ kṛṣṇápavir oṣádhībhir vavakṣe ||
ಇವನೇ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಮಹಾನ್, ವಿಶಾಲನು—ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಹೋತಾ, ಆನಂದಕರ, ವೇಗವಂತ ಅಗ್ನಿ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಯಲ್ಪಡುವವನಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಕಿರಣಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಹರಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಕೃಷ್ಣ-ಧಾರೆಯ ತನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅವನು ಔಷಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ (ಜೀವನರೂಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ) ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
