नू न इन्द्रावरुणा गृणाना पृङ्क्तं रयिं सौश्रवसाय देवा । इत्था गृणन्तो महिनस्य शर्धोऽपो न नावा दुरिता तरेम ॥

nū́ na indrā́varuṇā gṛṇānā́ pṛṅktáṃ rayíṃ sauśrávasāya devā́ | itthā́ gṛṇánto mahínasya śárdho ’pó na nā́vā duritā́ tarema ||

ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ-ವರುಣರೇ, ಈಗ ನಾವು ಸ್ತುತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಗಾನಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಹೇ ದೇವರೇ, ಸೌಶ್ರವಸಾಯ—ಸುಶ್ರವಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ಯ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ—ಅಂತಹ ರಯಿ (ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ)ಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಮಿಶ್ರಗೊಳಿಸಿ. ಹೀಗೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವ ನಾವು, ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಶರ್ಧ (ಸಮೂಹ)ದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ನಾವೆಯಿಂದ ನೀರನ್ನು ದಾಟುವಂತೆ, ದುರುತ (ಕಠಿನ ವಿಘ್ನಗಳು) ದಾಟಿಹೋಗೋಣ.
