Sukta 6.52

न तद्दिवा न पृथिव्यानु मन्ये न यज्ञेन नोत शमीभिराभिः । उब्जन्तु तं सुभ्वः पर्वतासो नि हीयतामतियाजस्य यष्टा ॥

ná tád divā́ ná pṛthivyā́ ánu manye ná yajñéna nóta śamī́bhir ābhíḥ | ubjántu táṃ subhvàḥ párvatāso ní hīyatām atiyā́jasya yaṣṭā́ ||

ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ದ್ಯೌದ ಎತ್ತರದಿಂದಲೂ ಅಳೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಪೃಥಿವಿಯ ವಿಸ್ತಾರದಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲ; ಯಜ್ಞದ ವಿಧಿ-ರೂಪಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಈ ಶಮಿ-ಕರ್ಮಗಳಿಂದ (ಶಾಂತಿಕರ ಉಪಾಯಗಳಿಂದ) ಸಹ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಸುಭ್ವಃ—ದೃಢ, ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳು, ಪರ್ವತಗಳಂತೆ—ಅವನನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹಾಕಲಿ; ಅತಿ-ಯಾಜಕನಾದ, ಭ್ರಾಂತ ಯಷ್ಟಾ (ಅತಿಯಾಗಿ ಯಜ್ಞ ಮಾಡುವವನು) ಕುಸಿದು ದೂರವಾಗಲಿ—ಅವನ ಬಲ ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸಿ ಹಿಂಜರಿಯಲಿ.
