Sukta 6.34
अस्मा एतद्दिव्यर्चेव मासा मिमिक्ष इन्द्रे न्ययामि सोमः । जनं न धन्वन्नभि सं यदापः सत्रा वावृधुर्हवनानि यज्ञैः ॥
asmā etad divy arcāiva māsā mimikṣa indre ny ayāmi somaḥ | janaṃ na dhanvann abhi saṃ yad āpaḥ satrā vāvṛdhur havanāni yajñaiḥ ||
ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ—ದಿವ್ಯ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯಂತೆ ಸ್ತುತಿ-ಋಚೆಯನ್ನು; ತಿಂಗಳು ತಿಂಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೋಮ ಇಂದ್ರನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಿದು ಮಿಶ್ರಣಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೇಗೆ ಹರಿಯುವ ಧಾರೆಗಳಂತೆ ಆಪಃ (ಜಲಗಳು) ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೇರಿ ಒತ್ತಿ ಬರುತ್ತವೆಯೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಿಂದ ಹವನ-ಆಹ್ವಾನಗಳು ಸದಾ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿವೆ.
