आ यद्वां सूर्या रथं तिष्ठद्रघुष्यदं सदा । परि वामरुषा वयो घृणा वरन्त आतपः ॥
Transliteration
ā́ yád vāṃ sū́ryā ráthaṃ tíṣṭhad raghu-syádaṃ sádā | pári vām aruṣā́ váyo ghṛṇā́ váranta ātápaḥ ||
Translation
ಸೂರ್ಯಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಥವನ್ನು ಆರೋಹಿಸುವಾಗ—ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಚಲಿಸುವುದನ್ನು—ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತ ಜೀವಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಕೆಂಪುನೇರೆಯ ಅಶ್ವಗಳು ಪರಿವೃತ್ತಿಯಾಗುತ್ತವೆ; ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕಾಶ (ಘೃಣಾ) ಹಾಗೂ ತಾಪ (ಆತಪ) ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿ ಸೇರುತ್ತವೆ.
