Sukta 5.6
सो अग्निर्यो वसुर्गृणे सं यमायन्ति धेनवः । समर्वन्तो रघुद्रुवः सं सुजातासः सूरय इषं स्तोतृभ्य आ भर ॥
só agnír yó vásur gṛṇé sáṃ yám āyánti dhenávaḥ | sám árvanto raghu-drúvaḥ sáṃ sujātā́saḥ sūráya íṣaṃ stotṛ́bhya ā́ bhara ||
ಆ ಅಗ್ನಿಯೇ ವಸು—ನಿಧಿ—ಅವನು; ಅವನನ್ನೇ ನಾವು ಸ್ತುತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಧೇನುಗಳು (ಹಾಲು ನೀಡುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳು) ಒಂದಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಒಂದಾಗಿ ರಘು-ಧ್ರುವ (ವೇಗವೂ ಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯೂಳ್ಳ) ಅಶ್ವಗಳು ಬರುತ್ತವೆ; ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಸುಜಾತ ಸೂರಯಃ (ಸುಜನ್ಮ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಗಳು) ಸೇರುತ್ತಾರೆ—ಹೇ ಅಗ್ನಿ, ಸ್ತೋತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಷಾ (ವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ) ತಂದುಕೊಡು।
