ratháṃ nú mārutáṃ vayáṃ śravasyúm ā́ huvāmahe | ā́ yásmin tastháu suráṇāni bíbhratī sácā marútsu rodasī́ ||
Translation
ಈಗ ನಾವು ಶ್ರವಸ್ಯುಮಾ (ವಿಜಯಕರ ಶ್ರವಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯ) ಮರುತ-ರಥವನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ರೋದಸೀ—ದ್ಯೌಃ ಮತ್ತು ಪೃಥಿವೀ—ಮರುತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು, ತಮ್ಮ ಸುರಣಾ (ದಿವ್ಯ ಆನಂದಗಳು/ವರಗಳು) ಅನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
