अतीयाम निदस्तिरः स्वस्तिभिर्हित्वावद्यमरातीः । वृष्ट्वी शं योराप उस्रि भेषजं स्याम मरुतः सह ॥

atī́yāma nidás tiraḥ svastí-bhir hitvā́ avadyám arātī́ḥ | vṛṣṭvī́ śáṁ yór ā́paḥ usrí bheṣajáṁ syā́ma marutaḥ sahá ||

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಗಳ (ರಕ್ಷೆಗಳ) ಮೂಲಕ ನಾವು ನಿಂದೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೋಷಾರೋಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗೋಣ; ದೋಷವನ್ನೂ ವಕ್ರವಾದ ಅರಾತಿ (ಕುಟಿಲ ವೈರ)ಯನ್ನೂ ತಳ್ಳಿ ಹಾಕೋಣ. ಹೇ ಆಪಃ (ಜಲದೇವಿಯರೇ), ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನೂ ವಿಶಾಲ ಆನಂದವನ್ನೂ ಮಳೆಗರೆದು ಔಷಧಸಮಾನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಡಿ; ಹೇ ಮರುತಃ, ಆ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರೋಣ.
