Sukta 5.30
वि षू मृधो जनुषा दानमिन्वन्नहन्गवा मघवन्त्संचकानः । अत्रा दासस्य नमुचेः शिरो यदवर्तयो मनवे गातुमिच्छन् ॥
ví ṣū́ mṛ́dho januṣā́ dā́nam invánn áhan gávā maghavantsaṁcakānáḥ | átrā dāsásya námuceḥ śíro yád ávartayo mánave gātúm icchán ||
ನೀನು ವೈರಾಗ್ಯವಾಗಿ ವೈರಾಗ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸಿದೆ; ಸ್ವಭಾವದಿಂದಲೇ ದಾನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ. ಹೇ ಮಘವನ್, ಉದ್ರೇಕಗೊಂಡಾಗ ನೀನು ಗವಾಂ (ಗೋವುಗಳನ್ನು) ಹತಮಾಡಿ/ಜಯಿಸಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಸ ನಮುಚಿಯ ಶಿರಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ತೆಗೆದೆ—ಮನುಗಾಗಿ ಗತಿಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಾ, ಮಾನವನಿಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲು ದಾರಿ ತೆರೆಯುತ್ತಾ.
