Sukta 4.1
ते मर्मृजत ददृवांसो अद्रिं तदेषामन्ये अभितो वि वोचन् । पश्वयन्त्रासो अभि कारमर्चन्विदन्त ज्योतिश्चकृपन्त धीभिः ॥
té marmṛjata dadṛvā́ṃso ádrim tádeṣām anyé abhíto ví vocan | paśvá-yantrāso abhí kārám arcan vídanta jyótiś cakṛ́panta dhībhíḥ ||
ದರ್ಶನವಂತರಾದವರು ಅದ್ರಿ—ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು—ಕೆಲಸಮಾಡಿ ಮಸಕಿದರು; ಅವರ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಇತರರು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವರ ನೀಡಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು. ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ದಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಗೋಪಾಲಕರಂತೆ ಅವರು ಕರ್ಮ-ರಚನೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸ್ತುತಿ ಹಾಡಿದರು; ಜ್ಯೋತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿತ ಧೀಗಳಿಂದ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ರೂಪ ನೀಡಿದರು.
