Sukta 3.51
स वावशान इह पाहि सोमं मरुद्भिरिन्द्र सखिभिः सुतं नः । जातं यत्त्वा परि देवा अभूषन्महे भराय पुरुहूत विश्वे ॥
sá vāvashāná ihá pāhi sómaṃ marúdbhir indra sákhībhiḥ sutáṃ naḥ | jātáṃ yát tvā pári devā́ abhūṣan mahé bhárāya puruhūta víśve ||
ಓ ಪುರುಹೂತ ಇಂದ್ರನೇ! ಹರ್ಷಭರಿತ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವನ್ನು ಪಾನಮಾಡು—ನಿನ್ನ ಸಖರಾದ ಮರುದ್ಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ—ನಮ್ಮ ಈ ಸುತ (ಪೀಡಿತ) ರಸವನ್ನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ದೇವರೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಹಾ ಭಾರವಹನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದರು; ಸರ್ವವ್ಯಾಪಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ಓ ಬಹು-ಆಹ್ವಾನಿತನೇ.
