Sukta 3.51
तुभ्यं ब्रह्माणि गिर इन्द्र तुभ्यं सत्रा दधिरे हरिवो जुषस्व । बोध्यापिरवसो नूतनस्य सखे वसो जरितृभ्यो वयो धाः ॥
túbhyaṃ bráhmāṇi gíra indra túbhyaṃ satrā́ dadhire harivo juṣásva | bodhy ā́pir aváso nū́tanasya sá khe vaso jaritṛ́bhyo váyo dhāḥ ||
ಓ ಇಂದ್ರನೇ! ನಿನಗೇ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಣಿಗಳು (ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ-ಮಂತ್ರಗಳು) ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೇರಿತ ವಾಣಿಗಳು (ಗಿರಃ) ಅರ್ಪಿತವಾಗಿವೆ; ಓ ಹರಿವಃ (ಹರಿತ ಅಶ್ವಗಳ ಅಧಿಪತಿ), ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಅವು ಸದಾ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಗಿವೆ—ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸು. ನೂತನ ರಕ್ಷಕನಾದ ಅವಸ (ಸಹಾಯ) ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಳ್ಳು, ಸಮೀಪದ ಉಪಕಾರಕನಾಗು. ಓ ಸಖಾ, ಓ ವಸು (ಧನದಾತ), ಜರಿತೃ ಗಾಯಕರಿಗೆ ಜೀವನದ ವಿಶಾಲತೆ (ವಯಃ) ನೀಡು.
