सत्तो होता न ऋत्वियस्तिस्तिरे बर्हिरानुषक् । अयुज्रन्प्रातरद्रयः ॥

Transliteration

sattó hótā na ṛtvíyas tistiré bárhir ānuṣák | áyujran prā́tar ádrayaḥ ||

Translation

ನಮ್ಮ ಋತುಪ್ರಿಯ ಯಜ್ಞಪುರೋಹಿತನು ಆಸೀನನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ—ಯೋಗ್ಯ ಕಾಲಗಳ ಹೋತೃ. ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬರ್ಹಿಸ್ (ಯಜ್ಞಹುಲ್ಲು) ಕ್ರಮಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಹಾಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಾತಃಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ರಯಃ (ಪಿಷಣಕಲ್ಲುಗಳು) ಜೋಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು—ದೈವಿಕ ಕರ್ಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆನಂದವನ್ನು ದೋಹಿಸುವ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಶಿಸ್ತು ಬಂಧಿಸಿತು.
