अभि तष्टेव दीधया मनीषामत्यो न वाजी सुधुरो जिहानः । अभि प्रियाणि मर्मृशत्पराणि कवीँरिच्छामि संदृशे सुमेधाः ॥

Transliteration

abhí taṣṭéva dīdhayā manīṣām atyo ná vājī su-dhúro jihā́naḥ | abhí priyā́ṇi marmṛ́śat párāṇi kavī́ṁr icchāmi saṁdṛ́śe su-medhā́ḥ ||

Translation

ತಕ್ಷಕನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಂತೆ ದೀಧಿ (ಪ್ರೇರಿತ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ)ಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ಮನೀಷಾ (ಚಿಂತನಾ-ಶಕ್ತಿ)ಯನ್ನು ಚಲನೆಗೆ ತರುತ್ತೇನೆ—ಸುಧುರ (ಸುಯೋಜಿತ) ವಾಜೀ (ವಿಜಯಿ) ಅಶ್ವದಂತೆ, ಜಿಹಾನಃ (ಓಡಲು ಉತ್ಸುಕ)ವಾಗಿ. ಪ್ರಿಯವೂ ಗುಹ್ಯವೂ ಆದ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಜಾಗೃತಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಸುಮೇಧಾಃ (ಸುಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳ) ನಾನು, ಅಂತರ್ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕವೀನ್ (ಋಷಿ-ದ್ರಷ್ಟರು)ರನ್ನು ಸಂದೃಶೇ (ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ) ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
