Sukta 3.35
शुनं हुवेम मघवानमिन्द्रमस्मिन्भरे नृतमं वाजसातौ । शृण्वन्तमुग्रमूतये समत्सु घ्नन्तं वृत्राणि संजितं धनानाम् ॥
śunáṁ huvema maghávānam índram asmín bháre nṛ́-tamam vā́ja-sātau | śṛṇvántam ugrám ūtáye samát-su ghnántaṁ vṛtrā́ṇi saṁ-jítaṁ dhánānām ||
ನಮ್ಮ ಶುಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ಈ ಸಮರಭಾರದಲ್ಲಿ, ವಾಜಸಾತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪುರುಷಾರ್ಥಿಯಾದ ದಾನಶೀಲ ಇಂದ್ರನನ್ನು ನಾವು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಅವನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವನು; ನೆರವಿಗಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಗ್ರನಾಗಿ, ವೃತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು (ಅಡ್ಡಿಪಡಿಸುವವರನ್ನು) ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ, ಧನಗಳ ಸಂಜಿತ—ಸಂಗ್ರಾಹಕ ವಿಜಯಿಯಾಗಿರುವವನು.
