Sukta 3.34
ससानात्याँ उत सूर्यं ससानेन्द्रः ससान पुरुभोजसं गाम् । हिरण्ययमुत भोगं ससान हत्वी दस्यून्प्रार्यं वर्णमावत् ॥
sasā́nātyā́ṃ uta sū́ryaṃ sasānéndraḥ sasāna purubhójasam gā́m | hiraṇyáyam uta bhógaṃ sasāna hatvī́ dasyū́n prā́ryaṃ várṇam āvat ||
ಅವನು ವೇಗಶಾಲಿ ಅಶ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿದನು; ಸೂರ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಜಯಿಸಿದನು. ಇಂದ್ರನು ಪುರುಭೋಜಸ—ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಭೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಗೋವನ್ನು—ಜಯಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನು ಸುವರ್ಣಾನಂದವನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಭೋಗವನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆದನು. ದಸ್ಯುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ, ಅವನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಗಿಹೋಗಿ ಆರ್ಯ ತೇಜಸ್ಸು (ವರ್ಣ)ವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿದನು.
