Sukta 3.18
उच्छोचिषा सहसस्पुत्र स्तुतो बृहद्वयः शशमानेषु धेहि । रेवदग्ने विश्वामित्रेषु शं योर्मर्मृज्मा ते तन्वं भूरि कृत्वः ॥
úc chóciṣā sahasasputra stutó bṛhád váyaḥ śaśamānéṣu dhehi | revád agne viśvāmitreṣu śáṃ yór marmṛjmā́ te tanvàṃ bhū́ri kṛ́tvaḥ ||
ಸಹಸನ ಪುತ್ರನೇ ಅಗ್ನಿಯೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ಮೇಲೇಳು; ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ನೀನು, ಜಯಸಾಧಕ ಹುಡುಕುವವರೊಳಗೆ ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ, ಪಂಖವಂತ ಉರ್ಧ್ವಗತಿಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸು. ರೇವತ್ ಅಗ್ನಿಯೇ, ವಿಶ್ವಾಮಿತ್ರರ ನಡುವೆ ಸಮೃದ್ಧನಾದ ನೀನು; ಶಾಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯೋಗಕ್ಷೇಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ತನುವನ್ನು ಮೃಜಿಸಿ—ಸಮವಾಗಿ, ಪ್ರಕಾಶವಾಗಿ—ಮಾಡಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಬಹುವಾಗಿ ಮಹತ್ತಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
