Transliteration
agnír hótā purohíto ’dhvarásya vícarṣaṇiḥ | sá veda yajñám ānuṣák ||
Translation
ಅಗ್ನಿ ಹೋತೃ, ಪುರೋಹಿತ—ಯಜ್ಞದ ವಿಶಾಲದರ್ಶಿ; ಅವನು ಮಾನವ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಅನುಷಕ್, ಯಥಾಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದು, ತನ್ನ ಋತ-ವಿವೇಕದಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
