Sukta 2.35
समन्या यन्त्युप यन्त्यन्याः समानमूर्वं नद्यः पृणन्ति । तमू शुचिं शुचयो दीदिवांसमपां नपातं परि तस्थुरापः ॥
samanyā́ yánty úpa yanty anyā́ḥ samā́nam ū́rvaṃ nády aḥ pṛṇanti | tám ū śúciṃ śúcayo dīdivā́ṃsam apā́ṃ nápātaṃ pári tasthur ā́paḥ ||
ಕೆಲವು ಜಲಗಳು ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಸಾಗುತ್ತವೆ, ಇತರವುಗಳು ಸಮೀಪಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ನದಿಗಳು ಒಂದೇ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಊರ್ವವನ್ನು ತುಂಬುತ್ತವೆ. ಅವನನ್ನು—ಶುದ್ಧನೂ ದೀಪ್ತಿಮಾನನೂ—ಸುತ್ತಲು ಶುದ್ಧ ಆಪಃ ನಿಂತು, ಅಪಾಂ ನಪಾತನನ್ನು ಪರಿವೃತ್ತಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
