Sukta 10.88
मूर्धा भुवो भवति नक्तमग्निस्ततः सूर्यो जायते प्रातरुद्यन् । मायामू तु यज्ञियानामेतामपो यत्तूर्णिश्चरति प्रजानन् ॥
mūrdhā bhuvo bhavati naktam agnis tataḥ sūryo jāyate prātar udyan | māyām ū tu yajñiyānām etām apo yat tūrṇiś carati pra-jānan ||
ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಯು ನಮ್ಮ ಭವನದ ಶಿಖರವಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾತಃಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದಯಿಸುವ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಜನ್ಮಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಯಜ್ಞೀಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಈದೇ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಮಾಯೆ—ಆಪಃ (ಜಲಗಳು) ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವಾಗ, ಪ್ರಜಗಳ ಜನ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಅವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
