यद्वावान पुरुतमं पुराषाळा वृत्रहेन्द्रो नामान्यप्राः । अचेति प्रासहस्पतिस्तुविष्मान्यदीमुश्मसि कर्तवे करत्तत् ॥
yád vavā́na puru-tamáṃ purāṣā́ḷā vṛtra-héndro nā́māny aprāḥ | áceti prā-sáhas pátis tuvíṣmān yád īm uśmási kártave karát tát ||
ಹೇ ಬಲವಂತನೇ, ಪುರಾತನ-ಸಂಹಾರಕ, ವೃತ್ರಹನ್ ಇಂದ್ರನು ತನ್ನ ಅನೇಕ ನಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಆಗ ಪ್ರಾಸಹಸ್ಪತಿ—ಅತಿಪ್ರಬಲ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ—ತನ್ನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟನಾದನು. ನಾವು ಅವನಿಂದ ಏನು ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬಯಸುವೆವೋ, ಅದನ್ನೇ ಅವನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಬಲ್ಲನು; ಅದನ್ನೇ ಸಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
