Sukta 10.53

Rishi: Agni/Hotṛ-centered cycle (speaker representing the sacrificers seeking the true Hotṛ/Agni)

पञ्च जना मम होत्रं जुषन्तां गोजाता उत ये यज्ञियासः । पृथिवी नः पार्थिवात्पात्वंहसोऽन्तरिक्षं दिव्यात्पात्वस्मान् ॥

páñca janā́ máma hótraṃ juṣantāṃ gójātā utá yé yajñíyāsaḥ | pṛthivī́ naḥ pārthivā́t pātv áṃhasaḥ antárikṣaṃ divyā́t pātv asmā́n ||

ಐದು ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ಹೋತ್ರ-ವಚನವನ್ನು ಆನಂದದಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲಿ—ಗೋ-ಜಾತರೂ ಯಜ್ಞಿಯರೂ. ಪೃಥಿವಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪಾರ್ಥಿವ ಅಪಾಯದಿಂದ ಕಾಪಾಡಲಿ; ಅಂತರಿಕ್ಷವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದಿವ್ಯ ಅಪಾಯದಿಂದ ಕಾಪಾಡಲಿ.
