Sukta 10.42
किमङ्ग त्वा मघवन्भोजमाहुः शिशीहि मा शिशयं त्वा शृणोमि । अप्नस्वती मम धीरस्तु शक्र वसुविदं भगमिन्द्रा भरा नः ॥
kím aṅg tvā maghavan bhojám āhuḥ śiśī́hi mā śiśayáṃ tvā śṛṇomi | ápnasvatī́ máma dhī́r astu śakra vasu-vídaṃ bhágam indrā́ bhara naḥ ||
ಹೇ ಮಘವನ್, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ‘ಭೋಜ’ (ಭೋಗದಾತ) ಎಂದು ಏಕೆ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ? ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸು; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜಾಗೃತಿಗೊಳಿಸುವವನಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಹೇ ಶಕ್ರ, ನನ್ನ ಧೀ (ಬುದ್ಧಿ) ಕಾರ್ಯಸಿದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರಲಿ; ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ, ನಮಗೆ ವಸುविद (ಧನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ) ಭಾಗ್ಯವನ್ನು—ನಿಜವಾದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚುವ ಪಾಲನ್ನು—ತಂದುಕೊಡು.
