किं स्विद्वनं क उ स वृक्ष आस यतो द्यावापृथिवी निष्टतक्षुः । संतस्थाने अजरे इतऊती अहानि पूर्वीरुषसो जरन्त ॥

kíṃ svíd vánaṃ ká u sá vṛ́kṣa āsā yáto dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ níṣ-tatakṣuḥ | saṃ-tasthāné ajáre ita-ūtī́ ahā́ni pūrvī́r uṣáso jaranta ||

ಯಾವುದು ಆ ಕಾಡು (ಮರದ ದ್ರವ್ಯ), ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವುದು ಆ ವೃಕ್ಷ, ಅದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ದ್ಯಾವಾ-ಪೃಥಿವೀ—ಆಕಾಶ ಮತ್ತು ಭೂಮಿ—ಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕಿದರು? ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಜರ—ಅಕ್ಷಯ—ಆ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಆಧಾರದಿಂದ, ಅನೇಕ ಪುರಾತನ ಉಷಸ್ಸುಗಳು ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಪುನಃ ನವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
