स आ वक्षि महि न आ च सत्सि दिवस्पृथिव्योररतिर्युवत्योः । अग्निः सुतुकः सुतुकेभिरश्वै रभस्वद्भी रभस्वाँ एह गम्याः ॥

Transliteration

sá ā́ vakṣi máhi na ā́ ca satsi divás-pṛthivyór aratír yuvatyóḥ | agníḥ su-túkaḥ su-túkebhir áśvaiḥ rábhasvad-bhī rábhasvān éha gamyāḥ ||

Translation

ಆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ನಮಗಾಗಿ ತಂದುಕೊಡು; ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮೊಡನೆ ಬಂದು ಕುಳಿತುಕೋ—ದಿವ ಮತ್ತು ಪೃಥಿವಿ ಎಂಬ ಎರಡು ಯುವತಿಯರ ಚಲಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ (ಅರತಿ) ಆಗಿರುವ ಅಗ್ನಿಯೇ. ಸುಯುಕ್ತ, ವೇಗವಾದ ಅಶ್ವಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ—ಉತ್ಸಾಹಿ, ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ—ನಮ್ಮ ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾ.
