यदि क्षितायुर्यदि वा परेतो यदि मृत्योरन्तिकं नीत एव । तमा हरामि निॠतेरुपस्थादस्पार्षमेनं शतशारदाय ॥

yádi kṣitā́yur yádi vā páréto yádi mṛtyór ántikaṃ nī́ta evá | tám ā́ harāmi nírṛter upásthād áspārṣam enaṃ śatáśāradāya ||

ಅವನ ನಿಗದಿತ ಆಯುಷ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅಥವಾ ಅವನು ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅಥವಾ ಅವನನ್ನು ಮರಣದ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೂ—ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಋತಿಯ ಮಡಿಲಿನಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಪುನಃ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ—ನೂರು ಶರತ್ತುಗಳವರೆಗೆ (ಪೂರ್ಣ ಆಯುಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ).
