Sukta 10.10
न यत्पुरा चकृमा कद्ध नूनमृता वदन्तो अनृतं रपेम । गन्धर्वो अप्स्वप्या च योषा सा नो नाभिः परमं जामि तन्नौ ॥
ná yát purā́ cakṛmá kád dha nūnám ṛtā́ vádanto ánṛtaṃ rapema | gandharvó apsv ápyā́ ca yóṣā sā́ no nā́bhiḥ paramáṃ jā́mi tán nau ||
ನಾವು ಹಿಂದೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ, ಈಗ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನೇ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಏಕೆ ಅಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಜಾರಬೇಕು? ಜಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಗಂಧರ್ವನು ಮತ್ತು ಜಲಮಯ ಕನ್ಯೆ—ಅವಳೇ ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಭಿ, ಪರಮ ಜಾಮಿ (ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಬಂಧುತ್ವ); ಅದೇ ನಮ್ಮಿಬ್ಬರ ಬಂಧ.
