Sukta 10.1
अत उ त्वा पितुभृतो जनित्रीरन्नावृधं प्रति चरन्त्यन्नैः । ता ईं प्रत्येषि पुनरन्यरूपा असि त्वं विक्षु मानुषीषु होता ॥
áta u tvā pitú-bhṛ́to jánitrīr annā-vṛ́dhaṁ práti caranty annáiḥ | tā́ īm práty eṣi púnar anyá-rūpā ási tváṁ vikṣú mā́nuṣīṣu hótā ||
ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಪಿತುಭೃತ—ಪೋಷಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತ ಜನಿತ್ರೀ ಮಾತೃಗಳು—ಅನ್ನಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಚಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಓ ಅಂತಃಸಾರದಿಂದ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುವವನೇ. ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಪುನಃ ಪುನಃ ಸೇರುತ್ತೀಯೆ, ಸದಾ ಹೊಸ ಹೊಸ ರೂಪಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ; ಮಾನವ ಕುಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಹೋತಾ—ಆಹ್ವಾನಕ ಯಾಜಕ—ಆಗಿರುವೆ.
