नकिष्ट्वद्रथीतरो हरी यदिन्द्र यच्छसे । नकिष्ट्वानु मज्मना नकिः स्वश्व आनशे ॥
Transliteration
nákiṣ ṭvád rathī́taro hárī yád indra yácchase | nákiṣ ṭvā́nu májmanā nákiḥ sváśva ānaśe ||
Translation
ಓ ಇಂದ್ರನೇ! ನೀನು ದಾನ ನೀಡಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುವಾಗ, ನಿನ್ನ ಎರಡು ಹರಿಗಳು (ತಾಮ್ರವರ್ಣ ಅಶ್ವಗಳು) ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನಿಗಿಂತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ರಥಸಾರಥಿ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲಾರರು; ತನ್ನದೇ ಅಶ್ವಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಯಾರೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಲುಪಲಾರರು.
