Transliteration

evā hy asya kāmyā stóma uktháṃ ca śáṃsyā | índrāya sómapītaye ||

Translation

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಹೀಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ, ಅವನಿಗೆ (ಇಂದ್ರನಿಗೆ) ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಸ್ತೋಮವೂ ಉಕ್ಥವೂ—ಪ್ರಶಂಸನೀಯ ವಾಣಿ—ಘೋಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು; ಸೋಮಪೀತ ಇಂದ್ರನಿಗೆ, ಅಂತರಾನಂದವು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಅಧೀನಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ.
