Transliteration
upa-prayánto adhvaráṃ mántraṃ vocemā́gnáye | āré asmè ca śṛṇvaté ||
Translation
ನಾವು ಅಧ್ವರ (ಅಂತರ್ಯಜ್ಞ)ದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಅಗ್ನಿಗೆ ಮಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸೋಣ; ಅವನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದೂರದಿಂದಲೂ, ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೇಳಲಿ.
